GET FIXED

Revelation 3:1-2 "To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God.

Sardis means the red ones. In the natural, red represents danger, caution, get something fixed, and so on. If you see the traffic light red means stop. The Sardis church had a lot of admiration in the eyes of people. They seem to be doing well in their walk with the Lord jet in the eyes of God; they were dead. What does it mean to be dead in Christ?
Romans 6:13 Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.
To dead in Christ means you have not allowed the Holy Spirit overshadow you over spirit and soul, therefore, yielding your body; eyes, ears, hands, legs, and so on to be instruments of wickedness, allowing these body parts to do as they please without regard for God's word. When you use your eyes to watch pornograpy and you those same eyes to read the word of God is dead works. If you use your mind to perceive lust and you use that same mind to think about God's work is dead works. If you go and have lie on the bed of fornication and goes to church and lie on the floor in worship, is dead works. Many of us are like the Church of Sardis; our repentance remains. Let go back to God and ask for Grace and Mercy to move from dead work to be alive in Christ Jesus.

Prayer: Father, in the name of Jesus Christ,  I have a false reputation; help me, Lord. Holy Spirit saturate my spirit and soul to yield the members of my body to your glory. Amen
