THE LORD'S BATTLE

Isaiah 31:4 This is what the LORD says to me: "As a lion growls, a great lion over its prey — and though a whole band of shepherds is called together against it, it is not frightened by their shouts or disturbed by their clamor — so the LORD Almighty will come down to do battle on Mount Zion and on its heights.

The Lord's battle for His people is likened to the growls of a lion over its prey. When a lion captures a prey right before the family members of that prey it devours it without any fear. Their presence does not intimidate the lion at all. They stand and watch helplessly as their kind is being devoured. They do not dare to plan a rescue mission because their attempt to rescue is their end. That is how God battles for His Church and His people. When the Lord is attacking our enemies they either stand to watch helplessly or they flee from the scene. No troop from the pit of hell can come to their rescue. They only stand to see the destruction of the Lord. There is no salvation for them. Beloved the Lord our God is mighty in battle. Quit warring in carnal ways that yield no results. Trust in the and commit your battle to Him for unprecedented victory.

Prayer: Father in the name of Christ Jesus I thank that you are my God strong and mighty in battle. God unto you I commit every Battle in my life come through for me in Jesus' name. Amen.
