A MESSENGER OF SATAN

Isaiah 36:2 Then the king of Assyria sent his field commander with a large army from Lachish to King Hezekiah at Jerusalem.

The whole of Isaiah thirty-six a message from King Sennacherib of Assyria through his chief commander to Hezekiah king of Jerusalem. The meaning of the name Sennacherib means sin multiplied brothers. The King of Assyria sent his messenger to send taunting messages to the King of Israel and his people. What was the content of the message? He wanted Israel to surrender to him and he did this by trying to convince them that their army was a great one, two he had won victories against nations who had great god's and therefore the God of Israel army can not save them and that he had permission from God to destroy the people of Israel. The commander used two antics of the devil fear and lies. Any messenger of satan of two agendas to lie and put fear in you to cause you to disobey God's word and succumb to him.  Mute your voice against voices and people who constantly distort the truth of God's word and cause you to fear. Know when a person is becoming a messenger of Satan.  Matthew 16:22 -23 Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. "Never, Lord!" he said. "This shall never happen to you!" Jesus turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns." Rebuke the messenger of Satan in your life.

Prayer: In the name of Jesus Christ I receive divine authority by the power of the Holy Spirit to rebuke and resist any voice and messenger of the devil in my life. I chose to believe in Jesus Christ my Lord. Amen.
