RESURRECTED OR TAKEN?

Mark 16:5- 6 So they entered the tomb, and there on the right sat a young man clothed in a white robe. The women were startled, but the angel said, "Do not be so surprised. You are looking for Jesus, the Nazarene, who was crucified. He isn't here! He has been raised from the dead! Look, this is where they laid his body
.

Up until now, some people have seen the resurrection story of our Lord Jesus Christ as a myth. Even in the Jewish nation of Israel, where His empty tomb brings them regular profit through tourism, some still doubt it.

FIFA, together with other football federations of the world, has carefully planned and talked about Qatar 2022. Therefore the kickoff of the world cup won't be any new to the world. Likewise, the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ is not a bang event. Before Jesus Christ, the prophets of old spoke about that the fact that a man would live, die and resurrect for the saving of may more lives. Isaiah 53:9-10 He had done no wrong, and he never deceived anyone. But he was buried like a criminal; he was put in a rich man's grave.
But it was the Lord's good plan to crush him and fill him with grief. Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will have a multitude of children, many heirs. He will enjoy a long life, and the Lord's plan will prosper in his hands. One who does not have life cannot give life.

Jesus predicted His death at least three times in the Synoptic Gospels  (Matthew, Mark, and Luke), and the book of John offers even more predictions. Matthew 16:21 From then on, Jesus began to tell his disciples plainly that he had to go to Jerusalem, and he told them what would happen to him there. He would suffer at the hands of the leaders and the leading priests and the teachers of religious law. He would be killed, and he would be raised on the third day. These are the very words of Jesus Christ. Why would an angel come and endorse the deception of men; if it were the disciples of Jesus Christ who took His body? All who heard Jesus Christ speak about His resurrection did not believe it until it happened, including the women who went to the tomb. No wonder Isaiah 53:1 started with these questions  Who has believed our message? To whom will the Lord reveal his saving power? Not many believe this message of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, but it is the power of God as long as you believe. Have you accepted the Gospel?

Prayer: Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes— Lord, I believe. Amen.
