OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS

Isaiah 45:8 Open up, O heavens, and pour out your righteousness. Let the earth open wide so salvation and righteousness can sprout up together. I, the Lord, created them.

The original intent of God was for his creation to be like Him. God made man in His image and likeness.
Genesis 1:27 So God created people in His own image; God patterned them after himself; male and female he created them. The nature of God is righteous. But sin corrupted the original nature of man which is righteousness. For humanity to be restored to its original identity the heavens had to open up to release the righteous over the earth. This righteousness is Christ Jesus. Romans 5:17 The sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over us, but all who receive God's wonderful, gracious gift of righteousness will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ. God created humanity and His desire is not for us to perish but to continue in His righteousness as He created us from the beginning. Walking in righteousness begins with salvation. When you accept and believe in heaven's righteousness released upon the earth you become righteous. You are God's creation, He cares about you and has poured out His gift of righteousness to you. Wherever you are God's salvation can reach you. Your salvation and righteousness begin now.

Prayer: Father today I accept Heaven's gift of righteousness. Let my salvation and righteousness sprout out in Jesus' name Amen.
