THE WORK OF GOD

John 6:28-29:Then they asked him, "What must we do to do the works God requires?"Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent."

We always desire to do something for the Lord. The Bible admonishes us to work for the master while is day. The work of God starts with believing in Jesus Christ. When God gave Christ to the world he was working out your salvation. And we in return work for God by accepting Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,
not a result of works, so that no one may boast. The ultimate work you can do for God is to believe in Christ Jesus. Without your personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, there is nothing you can do to impress God. This is the work of God that you believe in Jesus Christ.

Prayer: Lord before I ever do anything to impress you let me first believe in your son Jesus Christ in Jesus' name.Amen.
