THE GREAT RELEASE

Luke 17:4-5: If he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times comes back to you and says, 'I repent,' forgive him."The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith!"

Forgiving those who have badly hurt you is not a simple task but you are commanded by God to do so. It is not an opinion God is sharing with you is a command. God's principle in dealing with offenses is that once you forgive others He will also forgive you. When the disciples heard this they all gave a chorus response increase our faith. Fear will cause you to hold on to your hurt but faith will allow you to let go. You have enjoyed God's forgiveness and know how sweet and refreshing it is when God does not count your iniquity against you. To enjoy more of God's love and forgiveness you must forgive others too.

Prayer: Lord by faith in your word I release anyone who has offended me one way or the other, cause your love to overflow in my heart in Jesus' name. Amen.
