WATCH

Mark 13:35-37 "Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back —whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn. If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. What I say to you, I say to everyone: ’Watch!’"

At the closing remarks of Jesus' address about the end time, He said watch, and may he not find you sleeping when He returns. What should we be watching and what of sleeping is our Lord Jesus talking about? He was talking about spiritual awakening; living in His word and inspired by the Holy Spirit unto righteousness amidst evil happenings in the last days. Watching out for what God has said in his word and making wise decisions on it. We sleep when we forget God's word and live our lives anyhow outside God's word.

Prayer: Holy Spirit help to be watchful and to live a life worthy of eternity in Jesus name Amen
