GOD WORKS WITH THE LIVING

Mark 12:27 He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are badly mistaken!"

It is a bad mistake to think God works with the dead. In every generation, God raises up new people for his assignment. He does not rely on the people of old to do things rather he relies on the living to accomplish His assignment. That's why Ecclesiastes 9:4 says: Anyone who is among the living has hope —even a live dog is better off than a dead lion! As feeble as you may be, once there is life in you mighty things can come out of your life. Quit dwelling on the glories of the fathers of old. For surely the glory of the latter house shall be greater than the former Haggai 2:9. And we belong to the latter, therefore God will accomplish greater things with our lives.

Prayer: Father I thank you for what you used the people of old for. But according to your word, you are the God of the living, am alive Lord because of you and your plans for my life, therefore do with my life something greater than you did with the people of old because I belong to the latter house. Let me experience the latter house glory in Jesus' name Amen.
