DON'T MAKE GOD INCOMPETENT BY YOUR REFUSAL TO PRAY
Ezra 8:21-22 Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river Ahava, that we might humble ourselves before our God, to seek of him a straight way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance. For I was ashamed to ask of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way, because we had spoken to the king, saying, "The hand of our God is on all those who seek him, for good; but his power and his wrath is against all those who forsake him."
When you have made your boast in Lord, and all the odds comes against you, what do you do? Ezra had an option of going back to King Darius for help but he remembered how he had boasted in the Lord. He therefore went to God in fasting and prayers concerning their children and resources. Ahava means I shall survive on a minimum of resources. And indeed they survived and had abundant supply. If you have told the world your prosperity and daily supply comes from God, then in times of need go to God. Don't make God incompetent in the eyes of the world by your refusal to pray. Ask him in prayer and He will supply abundantly. Ask God not men.
Prayer: Father I have told the world my supply comes from you, I am in need now! As I call on you supply every need for your glory in Jesus name Amen
