TRUE LEADERSHIP

Mark 10:45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

Leadership is not for people who just desire it and just want to sit in a place of honor. It is given to people who have laid down their lives in service to humanity. The Zebedee brothers just desired to sit at the right hand of the Lord for nothing done. And Jesus taught His disciples those who want to lead must first serve. Leadership has not been so in recent times; it is given to people with money, sweet tongue, people whose integrity has not been tested and even some who have corrupt lifestyles. Why? Because the got the money. Those who have served humanity and have a lifestyle that is worth emulating are being put aside. Don't elect leaders who start serving when they hear there is a pending position. Choose leaders who are already serving with or without a position. Service before leadership is the way of Jesus and we must always emulate this.

Prayer: Father put in me the spirit of servant leadership, I pray this grace for all our leaders as well in Jesus mighty name Amen
