Psalms 11:3 If the foundations are destroyed,
What can the righteous do?

The foundation is the most important part of any building. A foundation is that part of the structure which is in direct contact with the ground to which loads are transmitted; without a foundation, nothing can be built.In Psalms 11: 3, we realize two things: one, the righteous have foundations and two, these foundations can be destroyed. We will today look into the scripture to look out for the foundations of the believer.

In Matt 16:16-18 we identify from Peter's revelation that the righteous must identify and accept that Christ is the Son of God. This forms the rock on which Christ built the Church. It is a foundation you must know as a believer; it must sink deep inside of you. You don't subscribe to anything other than this. Again Ephesians 2:19-22 identifies Jesus as the pillar and
foundation of the Church. Ephesians 2:20 Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself.  The believer is thus built on this truth; Christ (the way, the truth and the life: John 14:6. Anything built on another foundation cannot stand.  1 Corinthians 3:11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already have—Jesus Christ. Understanding, imbibing, subscribing, and believing this basic truth to you as a believer is paramount for without you can't do anything in the Faith. This foundation is for your deep establishment and rising in the

Faith. If you don't believe then at your peril. Now that we know Christ Jesus as the foundation of every believer, let's look at the things that destroy or shake our foundation as believers. Psalms 11:4-5a The Lord is in His holy temple, The Lord’s throne is in heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids test the sons of men. The Lord tests the righteous. One of the things that can easily try, shake and destroy your foundation is the testing of your faith. Job was tested, our first parents were tested, Joseph was tested. In all this, the enemy wants you to lose your faith in the Son of God, but the greatest test of any human is What the Son of God faced death; even death on the cross; therefore, all who believe in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ though tested will triumph over it and be perfected.  James 1:2-4 Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed, you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing.

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, I know you had my firm foundation; empower me to go through all the tests of life and to come out victoriously and perfected unto your glory in Jesus' name. Amen
