AN ETERNAL MEMORIAL

Joshua 4:7 Then you can tell them, ‘They remind us that the Jordan River stopped flowing when the Ark of the lord’s Covenant went across.’ These stones will stand as a memorial among the people of Israel forever.”

Great to see you! I hope you're having an amazing day filled with joy and blessings. I wanted to share with you some words of wisdom from Joshua 4:7, which reminds us of the importance of gratitude and memorializing the victories God gives us. Let's take a moment to express our gratitude to God for all the blessings in our lives.
Joshua chose twelve men from each tribe in Israel to go in front of the Ark of the Lord to pick a stone to set up as a memorial for crossing the river Jordan. They had to command them to pick it in front of the Lord's eye because in his mind their appreciation of God must be visible. God wants to see us when we are giving thanks. One thing we cannot be silent or diplomatic about is our thanksgiving and appreciation to God. Luke 17:15-17 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God,  and fell on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.
So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Am sure the nine who didn't appear before Jesus would at least say thank you Lord wherever they were standing.

The Samaritan offered thanksgiving in a way that Jesus Christ got Jesus thinking. In thanksgiving your voice must be heard. In a loud voice, he glorified God. In thanksgiving our knees go down and we offer thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is not a private thing if you are a grateful person it is visible. We must have a stone of memorial for every victory God gives us. We must personalize it. Every tribe had a memorial stone in honour of crossing the river Jordan. Stones vary in shape, size and form. We all have different ways of expressing our appreciation to God but the most important thing is that God must see you as a grateful person and you must have your memorial stone.

Prayer: Father lest I forget, thank you for the gift of life Today. I offer unto you my life as a memorial stone to always remember your sacrifice for my life in Jesus' name. Amen
