WHERE THE FINDINGS ARE MADE

1 Kings 22:24-25 Then Zedekiah son of Kenaanah walked up to Micaiah and slapped him across the face. “Since when did the Spirit of the lord leave me to speak to you?” he demanded. And Micaiah replied, “You will find out soon enough when you are trying to hide in some secret room!”

Hearing the voice of God is not for a selected few. It is fundamental in our walk with God. One thing that Christ is assured about concerning His sheep is that they hear His voice. If you claim you are part of Christ's sheep and you can't hear Him then something is fundamentally wrong in your walk with Him.  John 10:27-29 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.

The Lord knows those who hear His voice. Following is based on what you hear. We hear God primarily from His word, inner convictions, and through prayer. When we pray God hears and speaks. We make our findings in the secret place of prayer and this gives us directions on what to

follow and not follow. Micaiah did not follow the other prophets because he went to the secret place. John 10:4-5 And when he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” In these last days, a lot of strange voices abound it will take your findings from the secret place to keep you from following these strange voices.

Prayer: Holy Spirit empower me to stay in the secret place with God. Holy Spirit give me the waiting power to get the right findings from the Father so I am not misled in Jesus' name. Amen
