GOD'S GOODNESS

Psalms 31:19 Your goodness is so great! You have stored up great blessings for those who honor you. You have done so much for those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world.

In the Bible, we have two categories of people, those who experienced the goodness of God and those who shared his wrath. Those who feared God saw His goodness, and those who rebelled against Him saw his wrath. We also have those who, through grace and mercy, also had a share in God's goodness but who experienced grace and mercy turned away from their wicked ways to serve the true and the living God. God's goodness is for those who fear, and his wrath is rebellious people. The devil has no good intentions about the people of God, but our Good God has good intentions for the people of the devil, offering them the gift of salvation through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. But for those of us who have been saved, God has given us all that pertains to life and godliness, and we have become the envy of the devil.

Prayer: Father, I thank you for your constant goodness is running after me; continue to show me your goodness in the Land of the living in Jesus' name. Amen.
