BE MERCIFUL

Isaiah 47:6 I was angry with my people and desecrated my inheritance; I gave them into your hand, and you showed them no mercy. Even on the aged you laid a very heavy yoke.

Being merciful is an attribute that every human must possess. Mercy is a God's nature found in all His creation. Even criminals and the most notorious people in society deserve it. While we were yet sinners Christ died for us.  Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Mercy is reciprocal, if you don't give you don't get. The people of Babylon missed out on the mercy of God because they failed to show mercy to the Israelites. Even when you have the power to treat because of their wrong, in your wrath remember mercy. Everyone deserves mercy. God will never forgive you when you act without mercy.

Prayer: Father in Jesus' name give me a heart that pours out mercy at every time in Jesus' name. Amen
