ALL THAT GOD IS TO YOU
Psalms 18:2 The lord is my rock, my fortress, and my saviour; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.
The writer uses different imagery to depict who God was to Him. We are serving the God of our Fathers: Abraham, Isaac, Jacob; the list can continue on and on from the prophets to the Apostles. These people had a relationship with God and we also must have a relationship with Him. The writer personalizes who God is to Him. The writer uses the personal pronoun I and the possessive adjective my to show he had a personal relationship with God. You also must have a personal relationship with God.
Through your experiences, you also have a relationship with God. If God has been with you through the unchanging scenes, you can say my forever God. Definitely, God has been something to you. He gives you breath, pays off your debts for you, forgives your iniquity and heals you.
The most important thing you derive from your experience with God is that it must bring you into a personal relationship with Him. You must know Him through your experiences. Don't waste those moments.
Prayer: Father, I thank you for the many experiences and encounters. Holy Spirit let me know you more through these things in Jesus' name. Amen!
