THE RESCUE MISSION

Galatians 1:4-5 Jesus gave his life for our sins, just as God our Father planned, in order to rescue us from this evil world in which we live. All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.

Happy New Year precious one. May the Lord cause His blessings to abound unto you in this year. God bless you for reading Word Digest Daily Devotional in the years past. This year also God will reveal Himself to us through the power of His Word. I pray that the eyes of your understanding be enlightened, and may the Holy Spirit give you great insight into His word. Above all let God's word become true in your life. As you read it, receive it, believe in the word and there shall be a performance.

Beloved one thing the devil rides upon to inflict pain in our lives is our sins. The sin of our first earthly parents Adam and Eve continue to linger over all human descendants. Romans 3:23 -24
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. Beloved there is evil in the world in which we live. The devil and his cohorts are on a mission of destruction but God has a counter mission of restoration and He does that through His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is a rescue mission to deliver humanity from the evil in this world.

Without Jesus Christ, you can never escape any evil in this world both internal and external ones. You cannot stop doing evil on your own, you need Jesus Christ to rescue you. This rescue mission does not have an expiry date. It is forever. In this year also God's rescue mission is in motion for anyone who is overpowered by the evil in this world. It is the Grace of God that saves you. You don't have to do anything. All you need is to believe in Jesus Christ and you will be saved. It is a good time to cry out. The rescue mission is at work and Jesus will save you.

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ I begin the year with you. I don't want to be overpowered by the evil in this world, deliver me and all those who are connected to me in Jesus' name. Amen.
