THE LORD’S MESSAGE

Isaiah 48:16-17 Come closer and listen. I have always told you plainly what would happen so you would have no trouble understanding." And now the Sovereign Lord and his Spirit have sent me with this message: "The Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, says: I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is good and leads you along the paths you should follow.

God has never hidden any relevant information from us. Anything you need to know that will aid your life here on earth has been provided in His word. Deuteronomy 29:29 "There are secret things that belong to the Lord our God, but the revealed things belong to us and our descendants forever, so that we may obey these words of the law. Is funny how some people don't follow the revelations God has given in His word, yet they are searching for mysteries of God outside His word. Beloved you have no business searching for information that God has not made available. Just obey the ones He has laid down and you will be fine. God tells us the consequences of obeying His word and the consequences of going against His word.

One message that God desires that you imbibe into your spirit is that He has no evil intentions against you. All that He has in mind for you is good. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. His instructions are for your good. Genesis 2:16 - 17 But the Lord God gave him this warning: "You may freely eat any fruit in the garden
except fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat of its fruit, you will surely die." Indeed when they ate they died. You have understanding when you play by the rules. As humans we turn to understand rules set by human institutions, we do not read meaning into them and we think it just and fair when people get punished for flouting the rules. God knows better and He is teaching you the way to go and the path you should follow. If you obey Him it will be to your advantage, if you disobey Him that will be to your peril.

Prayer: Holy Spirit give my understanding and the grace to follow the teachings and leadings of God so that I may live a fruitful and productive life in Jesus' name. Amen.
