LISTEN TO YOUR FATHERS AND MOTHERS IN THE LORD

Proverbs 1: 8-9
Listen, my son, to your father's instruction and do not forsake your mother's teaching. They will be a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck.

Those who have regard for the  words of their mothers and fathers are honored in the end. The fathers instruct, whiles the mothers teach. Both instructions and teaching are beneficial for your holistic nurturing. Paul in 1Timothy 4:11 says, these things command and teach. Meaning there things to teach about  and there things you just have to command.  Explanations are not given to instructions or command, they are self explanatory and that what the fathers do to get you in line to fulfill God's agenda for your life and to be profitable to humanity.
God testifies  about father Abraham in Genesis 18:19
For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him. Mothers will sit with you and give reasons why you should not do this and that: that is teaching. Like King Lemuel's mother in Proverbs 31: 1- 4 She explains to her son why it is not for kings to drink wine and for princes to take in strong drink.
If you take the fathers instructions and the mothers teachings in good faith  your life will be decorated with honor.

Prayer: Holy Spirit grant my the grace to always obey  my fathers and mothers in the Lord in Jesus name Amen.
