DO NOT WALK IN THE WAY OF WICKED PEOPLE
Proverbs 4:14-15
Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evil men. Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn from it and go on your way.
Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evil men. Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn from it and go on your way.
There are ways of righteousness and there are ways of wickedness. The Bible says there is a way that seems right in the eyes of men but the end thereof is death. Joseph had the choice to walk in that wicked way but he turned from it. Daniel his his friends were also presented with the choice to walk in the way of the wicked but they turned from it. These decisions made them great. There are other Bible characters who were not able to turn from the ways of wicked people therefore delaying their destinies and terminating the will of God for their lives. Gehazi, Sampson, Solomon, David etc. Gehazi amounted to nothing in life, the rest called on God for mercy and he aligned them back to his will. But they had to turn around from the ways of wickedness. Sin is wickedness against God, it doesn't add any value to your life, it keeps subtracting from you till we are empty. Avoid sin, do not travel its road, turn from it and go your way simply means: don't go near it when you see it, refute means that lead you to sin, if you are in involved in one you must repent and finally follow the way of righteousness set before by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Prayer: Lord for your name sake lead to the path of righteousness as I strive to turn from my wicked ways in Jesus name Amen
