FORGIVENESS SIMPLIFIED

Hebrews 9:22 In fact, according to the law of Moses, nearly everything was purified with blood. For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.

According our passage for today, the price for forgiveness is very high. It is certain that we cannot meet the criteria forgiveness. So God sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to shed His blood for the forgiveness of our sin. 

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. The blood of Jesus Christ first dealt with the penalty of our original sin inherited from our first earthly parents Adam and Eve. The blood of Jesus Christ also deals with the penalty of sins we commit against one another. Leviticus 20 and a number of scriptures spells out the penalties we had to receive when we offend another under the law. We longer have to sacrifice, goats, bulls and sheeps for the offences we commit rather we take inspiration from Christ Jesus to forgive others as Jesus Christ has 

You are not required to sacrifice your life or anything for your sins. The sacrifice of Jesus has made it easy to forgive others and for you also to be forgiven by others. You carry the burden of guilt when you don't forgive others.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, like you sacrificed, for my forgiveness, give me the heart to forgive to be forgive in Jesus name. Amen!
