THE HELP OF GOD

Psalms 12:5-6 The lord replies, “I have seen violence done to the helpless,  and I have heard the groans of the poor. Now I will rise to rescue them, as they have longed for me to do.” The lord’s promises are pure, like silver refined in a furnace, purified seven times over. The poor, helpless, and destitute are at the end of receiving injustice. Our text today is God's response to the oppression of the poor. One of the commonest forms of oppression that abound is violence. Violence is an action which causes destruction, pain, wrongdoing or suffering.
